After a first profound strategic study early 2005, Delaware Consulting took its first ‘official’ steps beyond the Belgian borders. In line with the increasing globalization and delocalization of our customers, we opened a first office abroad in the Chinese city of Suzhou, near Shanghai, in September 2005.
End of 2006 the next international milestone followed: we joined forces with our Romanian partner Kepler-Rominfo and set up the joint venture Harbin Kepler Delaware Software Development. Our second China office is located in the northern industrial city of Harbin.
Early 2007, the first US office was set up in Atlanta, Georgia. From there we're servicing our existing clients, but we also plan to develop the US market itself.
To further consolidate our position in the European market, two Benelux branches opened in 2008: e-Kenz in Luxembourg (March 2008) and Delaware Consulting BV in ’s Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands (December 2008).
In 2009, Delaware Consulting conducts a second strategic study. This results in a restructuring of the partnership. Delaware Consulting is remodeled from a Belgian-centric company to a real global structure. Delaware Consulting International acts as a holding structure for the different, independent entities. This new structure encourages local entrepreneurship in the different entities of the group, as well as the realization of global synergies and standards.
In October 2009, Delaware Consulting also gains a good foothold in France, in Lyon. Delaware Consulting SAS, initially targets the French market with SAP All-in-One solutions.

Harbin Kepler Delaware Software Development
To serve our customers in the Chinese market even better, Delaware Consulting has recently launched a second office in China: Harbin Kepler Delaware Software Development. The new company, set up in December 2006, is a joint venture with our Romanian partner Kepler-Rominfo.
By joining forces we can now provide our customers with a broad range of tailored IT development services at highly competitive rates. The joint venture has strong competencies in four main areas: Java, .Net, AS400 and SAP NetWeaver.
Founded in August 2005, Harbin Kepler Delaware Software currently employs some 25 highly qualified IT engineers. The business is growing rapidly.

After years of activities in the US to assist Belgian customers with their American SAP projects, Delaware Consulting opened its First US Office in Georgia on January 1st, 2007 to provide a better service to the existing customer base and to bring 12 years of SAP experience to the American SAP market.
This US office fully fits into the vision of Delaware Consulting to expand its basis in view of its customers’ increasing trend of globalization and delocalization.
Delaware Consulting keeps pushing back borders. The offices in the US and China have recently been expanded with a branch in Luxembourg: e-Kenz. The new company, with its roots in the IT department of Groupe Eurobéton, markets itself as an IT service provider for mid-sized companies, with deep expertise in SAP software. The concept is quite innovative: by offering IT services – ranging from analysis and implementation through to the real management of the solution - as SaaS (Software-as-a-Service), customers can benefit from state-of-the-art SAP solutions without having to make major investments in hardware and/or people.
e-Kenz, holding office at Contern, was immediately awarded the title of SAP Silver Channel Partner Belux and is working for Groupe Eurobéton, among others. It is headed by Amal Choury, former CIO of Groupe Eurobéton. She is, together with LBO Investments and Delaware Consulting, the co-founder of the new IT service provider.
Delaware Consulting BV, Den Bosch (The Netherlands)
In December 2008, Delaware Consulting opened a new European foothold in Den Bosch, The Netherlands. This office resulted from a two year’s’ close cooperation with XAPlogistics – a Dutch IT service provider that had successfully launched Delaware Consulting’s FAST-Food™ solution onto the Dutch market.
Confident that a Dutch subsidiary would help consolidate its European position and boost the Dutch business, Delaware Consulting and the founders of XAPlogistics decided end of 2008 to convert its strategic partnership with XAPl Logistics into a merger an acquisition the end of 2008. The former owners of XAPlogistics became partners of Delaware Consulting BV and all existing staff was integrated into the new team.
In addition to marketing FAST-Food™, the Delaware Consulting team in the Netherlands will also is now targeting local companies with its broad offering of SAP All-in-One solutions, such as FAST™ -Chemicals™, FAST-Engineering™ and fairly new solutions like FAST-CRM™ and FAST-BI™. In the longer term, Delaware Consulting BV will provide the same solutions and services as the Belgian headquarters.
Delaware Consulting SAS, Lyon, France
In October 2009, Delaware Consulting opened a regional branch in Lyon, France. Founding fathers are, besides Delaware Consulting, three experienced professionals with a deep know-how of the French IT and SME worlds: Patrick Dassaud, Didier Galland and Jean-Philippe Lasbroas.
Dassaud, Galland and Lasbroas will target French mid-sized companies with IT solutions based on Delaware Consulting’s existing solutions portfolio and standards. The initial focus will be on the SAP All-in-One solutions that Delaware Consulting has developed specifically for the food (FAST-Food™), discrete manufacturing (FAST-Engineer™) and process industries (FAST-Chemicals™) and that have been rolled out successfully at SMEs in different countries for quite some years now.
The establishment of a French subsidiary is an ideal opportunity for Delaware Consulting to introduce its successful portfolio of SAP All-in-One solutions for SMEs onto the French market and, as a consequence, further strengthen its European foothold. By setting up this new office, Delaware Consulting is, once again, underlining the fact that it resolutely opts for internationalization.
